Job summary

2GO Group Inc. is seeking a software developer to deliver development, enhancement, maintenance and production support for the Retail Business Unit. You will ensure system availability and reliability by addressing incidents and implementing fixes.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a Bachelor's in CS/IT, and strong skills in ReactJS, NodeJS, Flutter, and SQL with relational databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of software development experience.
• Experience with ReactJS, NodeJS and Flutter.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge (Postgres/Oracle/MySQL/SQL Server).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and repository management is a plus.

Here’s the difference you’ll make

Your role will be primarily responsible for providing development, enhancement, maintenance, and support activities for our Retail Business Unit. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability and reliability of our systems by providing production support.

What you’ll do

• Collaborate with Project Managers, users, and cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements, translating them into technical specifications.


• Design, develop, and implement software applications using defined programming languages and frameworks to meet business requirements within agreed timelines.


• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure quality and functionality.


• Maintain and enhance existing applications (e.g., web applications, mobile applications, custom applications) by troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and implementing enhancements and fixes.


• Provide production support, monitor application performance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure system availability and reliability.


• Investigate and resolve application-related incidents and problems, following established incident management processes.


• Document technical specifications, system configurations, and support procedures to ensure proper knowledge transfer and supportability.


• Assist and collaborate with other IT teams in supporting, enhancing, or implementing applications when required.

• Familiarity with the ITIL framework and incident management processes is a bonus but not required.


• Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging application issues, with the ability to analyze complex problems and provide effective solutions.


• Knowledgeable and experienced in repository management, CI/CD.
