Job summary

JoyRide is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to ensure quality, stability, and performance of mobile and web apps. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium for iOS and Android, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Role requires hands-on automation experience, API testing, and collaboration with developers and product teams in an Agile environment. Familiarity with cloud-based mobile testing is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Appium.
• Experience in API testing and validating mobile app interactions with backend services
• Familiarity with mobile debugging tools
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, test case design, and mobile UI/UX testing principles
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with cloud-based mobile testing platforms is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications (iOS and Android)
• Build, optimize, and maintain the mobile automation framework using Appium
• Validate API integrations and ensure seamless interaction between mobile applications and backend services
• Identify, document, and track bugs, issues, and performance concerns
• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Contribute to improving QA processes, testing strategies, and automation best practices
