Job summary

Avaloq Philippines Inc. is seeking a Level 3 Manager to lead the APAC Compute Windows team. You will drive regional Windows Server operations, hybrid-cloud strategy, and automation initiatives, reporting to the Global Compute Services leader in Switzerland.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in Windows infra, strong AD/Policy expertise, and leadership experience across distributed teams in APAC. This role offers hybrid work and global exposure within Avaloq’s wealth-tech ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Windows Server administration and enterprise infra ops, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of Windows Server architecture, AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Strong hybrid and cloud compute experience (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Virtualization expertise (VMware, Hyper-V) and automation skills (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and configuration management tools; CI/CD exposure.
• Bachelor’s in CS/IT; Master’s preferred. Fluent in English; strong leadership & communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the APAC Compute Windows team, mentoring engineers and setting regional direction.
• Align regional operations with global Compute Services strategy and standards.
• Act as escalation point for critical Windows incidents across APAC.
• Plan resources, assign workloads, and forecast regional capacity.
• Drive performance management, development, and succession planning.
• Oversee Windows Server design, deployment, and lifecycle across on-prem and cloud.
• Own regional backup, DR strategies, security, patching, and resiliency.
• Lead cloud migrations and modernization with global architecture teams.
• Embed automation-first practices with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with app, network, and security teams for integrated solutions.
