Job summary

Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) seeks a Sustainability Advisory professional to support clients in understanding and addressing sustainability risks and opportunities. Qualifications

• 1–5 years in sustainability reporting, ESG strategy, or client‑facing sustainability roles.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese for engaging with Chinese-speaking clients.
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and standards like ISSB, SASB, ESRS, CSRD, TCFD, GRI.

Responsibilities

• Support clients on sustainability reporting challenges and opportunities across industries.
• Manage a portfolio of clients with proactive engagement and timely responses.
• Build relationships with senior client executives and provide tailored guidance.
• Monitor disclosure trends, regulatory requirements, and investor expectations.
• Deliver high-quality client presentations, reports, and advisory deliverables.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders on reporting practices and disclosures.
• Analyze sustainability data using ISS‑Corporate data platforms to identify improvements.
• Contribute to thought leadership through white papers, webinars, and toolkits.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on client projects and product initiatives.
• Support business development with subject‑matter expertise and client engagement.
• Travel up to ~10% for client meetings and events.
