Job summary

Dynata Philippines Inc. is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage journal entries for all general ledger accounts, including payroll, accruals, and intercompany activity. You will monitor month-end close, prepare reconciliation schedules, and support internal/external audits.

You will also prepare tax returns and liaise with Internal Revenue officers, respond to information requests, and collaborate with local accountants to ensure accurate system bookings. Ad-hoc projects may arise.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience in a corporate Accounting department.
• Multi-currency accounting experience.
• Experience with multiple types of financial programs.
• MS Dynamics AX preferred.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create and post journal entries for all general ledger accounts for monthly close.
• Enter and monitor general ledger activity throughout the month.
• Prepare reconciliation schedules including bank recs, accruals, and intercompany items.
• Work with external and local auditors for annual and statutory audits.
• Prepare tax returns and liaise with Internal Revenue officers.
• Respond to internal and external requests for financial information and prepare income tax reports.
• Assist local accountants in using the system to book entries.
• Undertake ad-hoc financial projects as required.
