Job summary

Allegis Global Solutions (Philippines) Corporation is seeking an Accountant to own the record-to-report process for assigned legal entities. You will manage day-to-day tasks including bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations, while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA certification is a plus.
• At least 4 years of experience in general accounting.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards and variance analysis.
• Strong communicator capable of engaging with stakeholders, auditors, and colleagues at all levels.
• Deadline-driven in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
• Self-directed with attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Curious about emerging tools and technologies, including AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close — journal entries, allocations, and timely book completion.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, P&L, and flux/trend commentary.
• Create and post intercompany transactions, including monthly recharges, and ensure intercompany accounts are in balance.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with Treasury, Payroll, AP, or AR teams.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and surface risks and opportunities proactively.
• Collaborate with the tax team on reconciliations and related journal entries.
• Support internal and external audits by providing relevant information to the Statutory and Compliance team.
