Job summary

HedgeServ in Manila is seeking a Middle Office Senior Associate to support a newly formed APAC team across trade capture, affirmations and pricing. You will contribute to client reporting, handle portfolio events, and collaborate with global teams in a follow-the-sun model.

This role exposes you to equities, options, futures, fixed income and derivatives, demanding accuracy, strong Excel skills and a client-service mindset to ensure timely settlement and issue resolution across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Exposure to equities, options, futures, fixed income and derivatives is advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills and high accuracy.
• Experience in client service and cross-regional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the establishment of processes, standards and culture in a newly formed Middle Office team.
• Daily, ensure all client trades are booked, portfolios are priced, and critical client reporting is delivered.
• Manage lifecycle events on client portfolio positions, including corporate actions, option expiries, and CFD resets.
• APAC coverage of bank debt instruments, including setup, cash flows, settlement, and loan conversions.
• Perform PnL checks and ensure EOD reports align with market activity.
• Review portfolio pricing against Bloomberg and Reuters for accuracy.
• Collaborate with the Sydney-based Middle Office team and global colleagues in a Follow the Sun model.
• Communicate with clients, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to settle trades and resolve breaks.
• Understand HedgeServ applications supporting trade capture, security master setups, reporting, price portfolios, and real-time PnL.
• Escalate issues clearly and hand over outstanding items to internal teams.
• Troubleshoot trade booking and pricing queries across a wide range of products.
• Hybrid working arrangements – may be required to work in office and from home.
