Job summary

Finastra is seeking a Lead Solutions Consultant to drive revenue in APAC by delivering innovative, best-in-class banking solutions. You will lead presales engagements, shape solution architectures, and serve as a trusted advisor to customers across the Universal Banking portfolio.

You will join a global team of experts and collaborate with sales, product, and implementation groups to design winning solutions and ensure successful deal outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience in core banking solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related field; advanced degree desirable.
• Strong understanding of banking operations incl. retail & commercial lifecycles.
• Familiarity with APAC, Australia & New Zealand banking models.
• Experience in core banking system selection/implementation within financial institutions.
• Knowledge of Islamic Banking is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Act as the solution consulting lead for Finastra’s Universal Banking solutions, providing expert functional and technical presales support.
• Lead and shape large, complex sales opportunities, designing integrated solutions across the Finastra portfolio.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Finastra Universal Core Banking solutions and articulate value propositions.
• Advise clients and internal stakeholders on end-to-end solution architecture and industry best practices.
• Facilitate understanding through presentations, demonstrations, workshops, benchmarks, and POC activities.
• Conduct discovery sessions to assess client needs and position Finastra solutions effectively.
• Create and own solution design documentation, including architecture diagrams and data flows for RFIs/RFPs.
• Lead opportunity bid management and coordinate internal teams for high-quality submissions.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, implementation, and support to deliver winning solutions.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell Finastra solutions to customers.
• Mentor sales teams on best practices to ensure world-class delivery.
