Job summary

Gough Recruitment (Hong Kong) Pty Limited is seeking an experienced APAC Document Control Lead to govern engineering and construction documentation across projects in the region.

You will own document readiness, governance, and EDMS management, driving metadata standards, audits, and knowledge management programs while collaborating with TPMs, Engineering, Construction, and PDI teams to ensure POR and PIL readiness and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Information Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in document control, knowledge management, or project management within engineering, construction, or mission-critical facility projects.
• Strong expertise in document control principles, metadata management, and EDMS platforms (e.g., AODocs, SharePoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore).
• Proven ability to facilitate stakeholder reviews, manage action trackers, and drive deliverables in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Own document readiness, compliance, and governance for engineering and construction documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with TPMs, Engineering, Construction, and PDI teams to conduct POR and PIL reviews, track actions, resolve documentation gaps, and drive project readiness.
• Manage Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), including metadata standards, taxonomy governance, folder structures, permissions, and document migration.
• Execute audits and reconciliation to ensure dashboard integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Develop training materials, SOPs, knowledge articles, and process guides to drive standards adoption and continuous improvement.
