Job summary

A Senior Data Analyst at Aon Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Philippines, Inc., based in the Philippines, will join the APAC Data & Analytics function to deliver analytics, reporting, and insights using Power BI, SQL, Python, and modern data platforms for the region.

You will partner with business stakeholders to translate questions into outputs, design dashboards, perform data investigations, and communicate insights across business, operations, and technology teams.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Business, IT, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Analytics.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in data analytics, BI, reporting, or data solution delivery.
• Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports, dashboards, paginated reports, data models, and high-quality visualisations.
• Strong SQL skills, with experience querying, transforming, validating, and reconciling complex datasets.
• Practical Python experience for data analysis, automation, data preparation, or advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand priorities, frame business questions, and translate requirements into clear analytical outputs and reporting solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualisations that provide actionable insights for regional business and operational stakeholders.
• Use SQL and Python to extract, transform, analyse, validate, and automate data activities across complex datasets.
• Undertake ad-hoc data analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers, proactively engaging the business on the insights and implications.
• Perform data profiling, data quality assessment, source-to-target mapping, validation, reconciliation, and investigation of data issues to support reporting and project delivery.
• Work with technology and data platform teams to troubleshoot reporting or data issues, including issues relating to modern data platforms such as Databricks where applicable.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, and enhance reporting processes and analytical products.
