You will develop supplier relationships, optimize hedging strategies, and collaborate with support functions to manage risk and drive long-term growth. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills are essential, along with deep knowledge of LME futures and hedging operations, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of base metals trading experience.
• Strong networks and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; understands LME futures and hedging operations.

Responsibilities

• Trade in base metals like Copper and Zinc, handling both physical transactions and futures market hedging.
• Develop business opportunities with new suppliers, counterparties, and innovative business models.
• Diversify the portfolio for sustained long and mid-term growth.
• Enhance trading capabilities through new methods, including domestic trades and blending operations.
• Formulate business strategies, plan budgets, monitor counterparties, mitigate risks, and manage exposure, collaborating with support functions.
