Job summary

D2B is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead HV infrastructure projects from a remote location in the Philippines, supporting Australian and New Zealand clients.

You will set engineering standards, oversee design reviews, mentor teams, and coordinate with external consultants, substations, and BESS projects, ensuring compliance and high-quality technical delivery.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally within high-voltage or power systems.
• Senior engineering or technical leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of transmission infrastructure, substations, and grid connection projects.
• Ability to review and oversee both primary and secondary engineering disciplines.
• Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS) highly preferred.
• Familiarity with civil and electrical interface coordination in infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and manage external consultants or contractors.

Job Description - AP - Electrical Engineering Manager - (HV Infrastructure)

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically strong Electrical Engineering Manager to join our team at D2B, supporting the delivery of complex Australian or New Zealand HV infrastructure projects.

This is a remote-based leadership role focused on establishing and improving engineering systems, processes, and technical delivery standards across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping how electrical engineering is executed within the organisation, particularly within the HV substation environment.

In this position, you will lead the development of engineering systems and frameworks, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry best practices. You will bring deep expertise in high-voltage (HV) electrical engineering, with a strong understanding of substation design and civil interface coordination.

You will oversee technical design reviews, manage external consultants and subcontractors, and provide guidance to ensure quality and consistency across all engineering outputs. In addition, you will mentor and support a growing internal engineering team, helping build capability and technical excellence within the organization.
