Job summary

Luxoft invites an experienced Android Applications Developer (Contractor) to build, ship, and scale production-grade Android applications for next-generation automotive infotainment systems (AAOS).

You will design scalable architectures (MVVM/MVI) using Kotlin, coroutines/Flow, and Hilt DI; implement robust networking and offline-first behavior with Room/SQLite; and uphold rigorous CI/CD and testing pipelines (JUnit/instrumentation).

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of professional Android app development experience in Java and Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of MVVM or MVI architectures and Kotlin Coroutines/Flow.
• Familiarity with Hilt DI and modern Android stack.
• Experience with testing: unit tests (JUnit) and instrumentation tests.
• Experience with AAOS/AOSP platform concepts and in-vehicle constraints.
• Agile/SAFe experience and strong Git collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build, ship, and scale production-grade Android applications for AAOS infotainment.
• Own multiple APK deliverables across the software lifecycle.
• Design scalable, testable architectures and ensure performance.
• Implement robust networking, caching (Room/SQLite), and offline-first behavior.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and code quality through automated tests.
