Job summary

Stellar Consulting Solutions, LLC is seeking a skilled Android engineer to develop and maintain features for a large-scale Android eCommerce application. You will write production-grade Kotlin code and create robust UI with Jetpack Compose, following MVVM and modern Android practices.

You will use Hilt for DI, Coroutines/Flow for asynchronous data handling, and Room for local storage, while Retrofit handles API communication. Unit and UI tests will be written and maintained as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Kotlin and modern Android development practices.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and MVVM architecture.
• Knowledge of dependency injection with Hilt.
• Strong understanding of coroutines and Flow for async data handling.
• Familiarity with Room, Retrofit and local data storage concepts.
• Experience writing unit and UI tests (JUnit, MockK).
• Hands-on with Git and multi-module Gradle projects.

Job description

The candidate will develop and maintain features for the Client's Android app. They will use modern Android development technologies such as Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Hilt, MVVM, Coroutines/Flow, and Room.

The developer will work on a large-scale, modular Android application and will be responsible for writing production-quality code and automated tests.
