Job summary

RTX, located in Tanauan City, Philippines, is looking for a procurement professional to support purchasing activities, respond to supplier inquiries, and ensure timely orders and cost control. This onsite role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management and at least 2 years of procurement experience.

Candidates should have knowledge of procurement procedures, supplier management, and ERP systems (SAP ERP), plus strong negotiation and communication skills to

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and any other related course.
• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles.
• Experience with supplier management and vendor negotiations.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and purchasing best practices.
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP ERP.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines.
• Decision-making and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Carries out processes and standards in support of Procurement, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and / or program execution.
• Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Works with buyers in activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services.
• Prepares purchase orders and payment approvals to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.
• Assembles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information for analysis.
• Supports the preparation of request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
• Compiles records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories, analyzes data and ensures account needs are met.
• Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.
• Adheres to and participates in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.
