Job summary

RTX is seeking a procurement professional in the Philippines to support purchasing activities, supplier engagement, and cost optimization. The role involves handling RFPs, negotiations, and PO processing, while ensuring timely deliveries and compliant processes.

Ideal candidates have a degree in business or supply chain, at least 2 years in purchasing, and strong negotiation and ERP experience. The position emphasizes supplier collaboration, data analysis, and adherence to EH&S standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles.
• Experience with supplier management and vendor negotiations.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and purchasing best practices.
• Experience using ERP systems, such as SAP ERP.

Responsibilities

• Carries out procurement processes and standards, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and program execution.
• Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure satisfaction.
• Works with buyers in activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services.
• Prepares purchase orders and payment approvals to ensure smooth procurement.
• Assembles price proposals, financial reports, and data for analysis.
• Supports the preparation of RFPs and bid packages.
• Compiles records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories.
• Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and resolve issues.
• Follows EH&S practices and participates in safety programs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carries out processes and standards in support of Procurement, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and / or program execution.

• Supports the preparation of request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
• Compiles records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories, analyzes data and ensures account needs are met.
• Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.
• Adheres to and participates in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and any other related course
• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles
• Experience with supplier management and vendor negotiations.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and purchasing best practices.
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP ERP.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
