SC Johnson in Makati, Philippines is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to support invoice processing and resolution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness within our SOAR controls. You will work with SAP, manage vendors, and monitor discrepancies while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day financial transactions and verify, classify, and record accounts payable data in SAP for multiple entities and vendors.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies for assigned entities and vendors.
• Analyze workflow for invoice exceptions and ensure timely posting of returned items.
• Adhere to SOAR controls and financial policies for liabilities recognition and recording.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements in Invoice Processing and Resolution.
• Contribute to updating and documenting the Invoice Processing and Resolution Playbook.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This position supports the Accounts Payable function and is responsible for the accurate, efficient, and effective delivery of Invoice Processing and Resolution processes within agreed timelines and ensuring compliance to defined process control frameworks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable data in SAP and SAP Business Workplace for multiple entities and vendors
• Verify, investigate, and handle invoice discrepancies for assigned entities and vendors (Simple Markets and Complex Markets)
• Analyze workflow processes for Invoice Exception and ensure timely posting of returned work items
• Compliance to prescribed SOAR control framework and financial policies to ensure proper recognition and recording of liabilities in the system
• Identifies and implements continuous improvements on Invoice Processing and Resolution to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
• Contribute to the continuous update and documentation of the Invoice Processing and Resolution Playbook

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

• Accounting/bookkeeping diploma/qualification or studying towards diploma/qualification
• Good exposure to enterprise systems, preferably SAP
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel

Must Have

• Good knowledge of Accounts Payable Process and Controls
• Keen attention to details
• Comfortable working on deadlines with a strong sense of urgency
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Desirables

• SAP experience an asset
• Excellent time management skills
• Previous experience in multi-cultural teams

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Full-time employment; onsite work setup (M-F); remote work once a week is available after 3 months
• Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm (Mondays thru Fridays)
• Overtime might be required depending on the critical deliverables
• This role is not eligible for relocation
