SC Johnson Philippines ROHQ is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to manage day-to-day AP transactions, ensure accurate posting in SAP, and resolve invoice discrepancies. The role supports multiple entities and vendors while adhering to corporate controls.

The ideal candidate has an accounting qualification and solid Excel skills, with exposure to SAP preferred. Onsite work in Makati with potential remote flexibility after probation may apply.

Qualifications

• Accounting or bookkeeping qualification or working toward one.
• Experience with enterprise systems, preferably SAP.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify, classify and record accounts payable data in SAP for multiple entities and vendors.
• Verify and investigate invoice discrepancies for assigned vendors.
• Analyze workflows for Invoice Exception and ensure timely posting.
• Ensure compliance with SOAR control framework and policies.
• Identify and implement improvements in Invoice Processing and Resolution.
• Update and maintain the Invoice Processing and Resolution Playbook.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This position supports the Accounts Payable function and is responsible for the accurate, efficient, and effective delivery of Invoice Processing and Resolution processes within agreed timelines and ensuring compliance to defined process control frameworks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable data in SAP and SAP Business Workplace for multiple entities and vendors
• Verify, investigate, and handle invoice discrepancies for assigned entities and vendors (Simple Markets and Complex Markets)
• Analyze workflow processes for Invoice Exception and ensure timely posting of returned work items
• Compliance to prescribed SOAR control framework and financial policies to ensure proper recognition and recording of liabilities in the system
• Identifies and implements continuous improvements on Invoice Processing and Resolution to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
• Contribute to the continuous update and documentation of the Invoice Processing and Resolution Playbook

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

• Accounting/bookkeeping diploma/qualification or studying towards diploma/qualification
• Good exposure to enterprise systems, preferably SAP
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel

Must Have

• Good knowledge of Accounts Payable Process and Controls
• Keen attention to details
• Comfortable working on deadlines with a strong sense of urgency
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Desirables

• SAP experience an asset
• Excellent time management skills
• Previous experience in multi-cultural teams

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Full-time employment; onsite work setup (M-F); remote work once a week is available after 3 months
• Work Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm (Mondays thru Fridays)
• Overtime might be required depending on the critical deliverables
• This role is not eligible for relocation
