Job summary

Northern Trust Manila office is seeking an Associate Consultant to investigate potential unusual activity on accounts under the Global AML Compliance function. The role supports the Manager, with guidance, and may mentor junior staff while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

You will review client files, interact with front office, and escalate issues to Global AML management as needed, contributing to training and process improvements within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supports AML team to investigate potential unusual activity at alert level.
• Provides guidance to junior staff and assists with workflow distribution.
• Reviews files for conformance with AML policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicates with front-office teams to resolve queries.
• Identifies regulatory risks and escalates to Global AML management as needed.
• Participates in training and contributes to process improvements.
