Job summary

ING is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst for Asset & Liability Management (ALM) to help shape and implement global ALM solutions. You will work with Risk, Treasury, Finance, Modeling, and Technology to enhance reporting, drive regulatory initiatives, and build a standardized platform for IRRBB and forecasting across ING locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• At least 3 years of experience within banking or financial services.
• Experience working with SQL, data analysis, and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of Banking, Finance, Risk Management, ALM, or related domains.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional and international teams.
• A proactive mindset with high ownership and accountability.
• Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and continuously improve ALM and IRRBB processes and reporting workflows.
• Analyze business requirements and translate complex needs into practical, scalable solutions.
• Perform data analysis, validation activities, and root cause investigations.
• Support the implementation of new functionalities, process enhancements, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Treasury, and Technology teams.
• Coordinate testing activities, production releases, and business sign-offs.
• Help ensure operational stability while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
