Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of financial accounting and reporting principles.
• Understanding of IFRS and accounting controls.
• Knowledge of banking products, financial markets, or lending products.
• Experience preparing financial, management, or regulatory reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience working with stakeholders and communicating complex topics clearly.
• Comfort working in a global and multicultural environment.
• A proactive, flexible, and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process general ledger entries, invoices, accruals, and asset management activities.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare regulatory reports, financial reports, management information, and dashboards.
• Perform reconciliations and investigate accounting discrepancies or reporting breaks.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and ING's financial reporting framework.
• Support accounting and reporting projects, process improvements, and system change initiatives.
• Respond to ad hoc reporting requirements and stakeholder requests.
• Monitor and resolve issues that may impact reporting timelines or financial accuracy.
