Teoh Capital is seeking an AI Product Manager to turn portfolio insights and market signals into products that compound value for founders and investors. You will own a stack spanning no-code, APIs, and LLMs to ship AI-powered tools that inform sourcing, diligence, and portfolio support.

Based with a lean team, you will drive the product roadmap, metrics, and operating rhythm for a fast-growing software investor at Sydney’s edge, collaborating with partners and portfolio teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record shipping AI or data products with measurable impact.
• Able to convert ambiguous theses into MVPs in weeks using prompts and APIs.
• Translate technical possibilities into commercial outcomes for VCs and SaaS founders.
• Experience with early-stage software companies (founder, PM, or operator).
• Strong written and verbal communication that earns partner trust.

Responsibilities

• Ship a working AI layer used weekly by the investment team within 90 days of joining.
• Translate three high-conviction portfolio or market problems into scoped, measurable product bets with clear success metrics and a 6-month roadmap.
• Reduce time-to-insight on new investment opportunities by 40% through automated data pipelines and LLM-powered analysis.
• Launch at least two founder-facing AI features that generate measurable usage or NPS lift inside portfolio companies.
• Establish a lightweight product operating rhythm that the firm can follow without extra process overhead.
• Identify and kill or pivot one underperforming AI experiment per quarter based on usage data and partner feedback.

As our AI Product Manager you will turn portfolio insights and market signals into products that compound value for founders and investors. Your work sits at the intersection of capital allocation and product craft: every decision you ship will influence how we source deals, support companies, and stay ahead of the next wave of AI-native software.

Performance Objectives

• Ship a working AI intelligence layer (deal sourcing, diligence signals, or founder-facing tools) used weekly by the investment team within 90 days of joining.
• Translate three high-conviction portfolio or market problems into scoped, measurable product bets with clear success metrics and a 6-month roadmap.
• Reduce time-to-insight on new investment opportunities by 40% through automated data pipelines and LLM-powered analysis that the partners actually trust and use.
• Launch at least two founder-facing AI features (e.g., competitive intelligence, GTM copilot) that generate measurable usage or NPS lift inside portfolio companies.
• Establish a lightweight product operating rhythm (discovery, prioritisation, shipping cadence) that the entire 11–50 person firm can follow without extra process overhead.
• Identify and kill or pivot one underperforming AI experiment per quarter based on usage data and partner feedback, protecting capital and focus.

You report directly to the Managing Partner and sit with a lean investment and operations team in Sydney. You will have access to our deal flow, portfolio data, and a modest but flexible budget for tools, data, and contractors. We favour speed over ceremony: you will own the stack (whatever combination of no-code, custom code, and vendor APIs gets the job done) and ship without waiting for a large engineering org.

Essential Qualifications

• Proven track record shipping AI or data products that non-technical users actually adopted (usage metrics or revenue impact required, not just prototypes).
• Ability to move from ambiguous investment thesis to a working MVP in weeks, not months, using a mix of prompt engineering, existing APIs, and lightweight engineering.
• Comfortable translating technical possibilities into commercial outcomes that matter to VCs and SaaS founders.
• Experience working inside or alongside early-stage software companies (founder, PM, or operator) so you instinctively know what “good enough” looks like at our stage.
• Strong written and verbal communication that earns trust from partners who will challenge every assumption.
