Job summary

Teamified is hiring one engineer to own the product's engineering end-to-end, serving as the technical owner of the AI Coach and surrounding systems. You will report directly to a non-technical founder and plan your own work, setting direction within the product brief.

Qualifications

• Proven experience shipping LLM-based products to production: prompt architecture, conversation state machines, RAG/retrieval, evals, moderation and safety handling.
• Strong backend engineering: Python, FastAPI, SQL/PostgreSQL, AWS; confident owning infrastructure, CI/CD and production ops solo.
• Solid React Native and React: ship and debug on iOS/Android, incl. in-app purchases and Stripe on web.
• Demonstrated AI-first development: daily use of agentic tools with judgement to review and own what is produced.
• Product sensibility: mobile/web UX focus; notice broken layouts, copy, flows and fix them.
• Self-sufficient operator: track record of owning a product or major system end-to-end with minimal oversight; strong written comms.
• Care with sensitive data: privacy, security, and access controls around health data.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI Coach: prompting, conversation state and progression, retrieval, model selection, safety layer.
• Own the backend: Python 3.12, FastAPI, GraphQL, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, AWS.
• Own mobile/web delivery: React Native, React, App Store/Play Store, Stripe subscriptions.
• Own release engineering: CI/CD, environments, backups, rollback for fast, safe releases.
• Translate technical decisions into plain language for founder and clinical team.
• Maintain AI-first workflows and evaluation harnesses for automatic testing.
