StackTech Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimise enterprise backend systems using Java (Spring Boot) and Python.

You will contribute to modernisation efforts, internal platform development, and integration services, while embracing AI-assisted tooling to boost productivity and software quality. You will build RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IT or related field
• Minimum 5 years backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and Agile practices
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise backend systems using Java (Spring Boot) and Python
• Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services
• Build internal platforms, middleware services, ETL pipelines, and integration solutions
• Participate in application refactoring and legacy modernization
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and integration issues
• Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability
