Job summary

Integrated OS is seeking a Software Engineer to join a close-knit team building high-performance backend services for an enterprise marketing supply chain platform. You will contribute across design, development, testing and deployment of Java/Spring Boot services with AI-enabled capabilities.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, secure and scalable solutions, and collaboration in a hybrid setup at Parkway Corporate Center, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Java and Spring Boot experience.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns and software architecture.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL with complex query optimization.
• Experience with pgvector or similar vector search.
• Hands-on AWS experience in production.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Git, CI/CD, and Agile delivery; able to work independently.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architecture discussions and the overall technology strategy for the backend.
• Design, develop, test and maintain robust, scalable and secure Java/Spring Boot services with a small team.
• Write clean, well-documented code focusing on best practices and maintainability.
• Build and optimise PostgreSQL data models, including vector search capabilities.
• Integrate AI via Bedrock and platform AI gateway with retrieval-grounded patterns.
• Containerise and deploy services with Docker and Kubernetes on AWS; support CI/CD and observability.
• Troubleshoot performance, security and functionality issues across the stack.
• Maintain and improve existing systems with emphasis on performance and scalability.
• Mentor and guide less-experienced developers.
