Job summary

Manulife is seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop and deploy AI solutions using Copilot, Power Platform, Azure Foundry and other low‑code tools. You will bridge software engineering with prompt engineering and AI orchestration to deliver scalable, responsible AI across business domains.

You will translate requirements, collaborate with stakeholders on automation opportunities, and deliver full‑stack AI applications with strong interfaces and APIs while maintaining quality and governance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years in software development or automation, with at least 1 year in AI or low‑code platforms.
Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot, Azure Foundry, designing requirements, and data‑flow documentation.

Responsibilities

Translate business requirements into technical specs or user stories.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and AI-driven solutions.
Design, develop, test, and maintain AI‑driven applications across the full software lifecycle.
Build intuitive UIs, robust APIs, and scalable server‑side logic.
Apply disciplined coding practices and implement design patterns and automation tools.
Conduct spikes to explore AI tech risks and ensure performance and accuracy.
Document deployment guides, maintenance plans, and support materials.
Deliver scalable AI solutions integrated with API and enterprise platforms (SharePoint, M365, Azure, ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc.).
Ensure responsible AI practices, including transparency, fairness, and compliance.
Monitor deployed agents for performance, reliability, and scalability.
