Job summary

Risewave Consulting Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology projects from initiation to completion.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, applications, cloud, security, data, and development teams to ensure on-time delivery, within scope and up to quality standards. The role requires strong PM skills, cross-functional collaboration, and experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management or technology delivery.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end IT projects.
• Experience working with cross-functional technology and business teams.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and practices.
• Experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT and technology projects from initiation to implementation.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and other project resources.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and change requests.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, resource utilization, and delivery milestones.
• Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder discussions.
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates.
• Ensure project deliverables meet business and technical requirements.
• Coordinate system implementation, testing, deployment, and transition activities.
• Work closely with technical teams such as infrastructure, applications, cloud, security, data, and development as required.
• Manage dependencies across multiple workstreams and ensure timely resolution of blockers.
• Identify potential delivery risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
• Support governance, project controls, and compliance requirements.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, risks, and decisions effectively.
• Ensure proper project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage technology projects from initiation through completion. • Familiarity with cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, applications, or enterprise systems.
• Experience working in a highly regulated or governance-driven environment.
