Job summary

Genesys Philippines is seeking a Specialist General Accounting to support the General Accounting tower, handling journal entries, account analyses and month-end close while ensuring accuracy and policy compliance.

You will partner with Accounts Payable, Procurement, Payroll, and other teams, identifying improvements and driving automation and AI-assisted initiatives to boost efficiency in finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, CPA preferred but not required.
• Fresh graduate or 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and period-end closing.
• Experience with ERP or financial systems preferred.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, validate, and post journal entries.
• Review data to determine proper accounting treatment.
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to record transactions.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Assist audit needs and provide supporting information.
• Use AI tools to support accounting analysis and reporting.
