Job summary

Genesys is seeking a Specialist General Accounting in Manila to support day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and month-/quarter-/year-end closes. You will analyze transactions, ensure accuracy, and comply with internal controls and standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Accounts Payable, Procurement, Payroll, and other Finance teams, with opportunities to contribute to automation and process improvements using approved AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy required.
• CPA license preferred but not required.
• Fresh graduate or 1 year of accounting experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, validate, and post journal entries for assigned areas.
• Review source data for proper accounting treatment and period recognition.
• Ensure transactions are recorded in correct accounting period with proper documentation.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
