Job summary

Universal Access and Systems Solutions Inc. seeks an AI/DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate AI-powered software and the infrastructure that runs it. You will blend software development with DevOps, focusing on LLM applications, agentic systems, and workflow automation.

You will deploy across cloud, on-premise, and GPU environments, implement CI/CD, monitor performance, ensure security, and stay current with rapid AI tool evolution to improve reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/IT/SE.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and services that integrate LLMs and ML models into business workflows.
• Integrate LLM APIs and self-hosted models on private GPU infrastructure.
• Build and maintain retrieval-augmented generation pipelines with vector databases and semantic search.
• Create agentic systems and tool-use workflows; implement prompt engineering and guardrail techniques.
• Develop scalable and secure backend services and APIs for AI/automation use cases.
• Design, implement, and monitor CI/CD pipelines across cloud, on-premise, and private cloud environments.
• Containerize and orchestrate workloads with Docker and Kubernetes; manage IaC with Terraform.
• Support deployment, release, and configuration management across environments.
• Administer Linux/Unix and Windows environments for development and production.
• Implement monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and cloud-native services.
• Monitor AI metrics (latency, token usage, cost, accuracy) and troubleshoot incidents.
