Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking experienced data scientists for a flexible, remote engagement to help train and validate an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.

You will craft technical design docs, data pipelines, API specifications, and evaluation reports, communicating tradeoffs and readiness to engineering and cross-functional stakeholders. Remote, 5-20 hours per week, ASAP start.

Qualifications

• 4+ years writing technical design documents, data pipeline docs, or API specs
• Direct experience evaluating model outputs or system readiness for stakeholders
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with strong written communication

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows
• Document architectural decisions, data pipelines, and API guides
• Produce model evaluation and system readiness reports for engineering and cross-functional teams
