Job summary

Astek seeks an experienced AI Security Engineer to design, implement, and secure an enterprise AI Guardrails platform supporting AI-enabled applications. You will build centralised, auditable AI security controls using AWS EKS, GPU-enabled infra, and AI Gateway integration for high-performance model inference.

Responsibilities include threat modelling, Red Teaming, secure deployment architectures, MCP ecosystems, and DevSecOps integration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years in Cybersecurity, Cloud/Secured software engineering.
• 2+ years in AI security within an enterprise.
• Experience securing LLMs and AI applications (GPT, Claude, Llama, Gemini).
• Knowledge of AI Guardrails, AI Red Teaming, model scanning, threat modelling.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, Azure Foundry, Vertex AI).
• Strong Python and at least one other language (Java/Go/C#/C++).
• Proficiency with REST APIs, authentication, and API security.
• DevSecOps, CI/CD, IaC, GitHub/GitLab, automated security testing.
• Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI Security Guardrails for enterprise AI apps.
• Deploy and manage security infrastructure using AWS EKS, Kubernetes, and GPUs.
• Establish secure deployment architectures and governance for AI platforms.
• Conduct AI security assessments, threat modelling, and red-teaming.
• Secure Agentic AI systems and MCP ecosystems.
• Implement model scanning, automated security testing, and runtime controls.
• Develop security automation using Python, REST APIs, and cloud-native tech.
• Integrate security into CI/CD and IaC workflows.
• Produce security documentation and architecture designs.
• Collaborate with engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, and AI teams.
