Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock in the Philippines seeks an IT Scrum Lead to drive Agile delivery, coach teams, and collaborate with cross-functional partners on global projects.

This hybrid role facilitates Scrum events, maintains backlog with the Product Owner, and promotes Agile metrics while supporting continuous improvement in a dynamic environment. On-site in Quezon City 3 days/week with EST-aligned hours.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Scrum Foundation Certification and Certified Scrum Master (CSM, SAFe).
• Understanding of Agile metrics and analytics.
• Effective communication and risk mitigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Retrospective).
• Coach the Scrum Team and stakeholders, promoting Agile principles and values.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to maintain backlog and clarify priorities.
• Ensure Scrum artifacts (e.g., burndown charts) are maintained and accessible.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
