Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. on-site in Quezon City is seeking a Product Owner with 3–5 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree. The role focuses on defining user stories, prioritizing work, and coordinating across teams to deliver software projects.

You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure acceptance criteria are met and to drive successful project outcomes. Strong Agile knowledge and Jira/Trello experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3 years experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
• Experience in software development lifecycle.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
• Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Gathers client requirements for development/technical projects.
• Documents User Requirements as User Stories and defines Acceptance Criteria.
• Prioritizes tasks and tickets with key stakeholders.
• cascades requirements to internal teams for production.
• Leads project kickoff to ensure proper cascade and resource assignment.
• Provides clear and regular updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinates with the Scrum Master for timely delivery.
• Coordinates with client for content/data collection and design approval.
• Coordinates with the creative team for UI/UX changes.
• Updates Knowledge Base System with project updates.
