Job summary

Umpisa Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

You will plan, track, and deliver projects within scope, time, and budget while coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The role requires strong communication, risk management, and documentation skills, with a focus on process improvement and governance to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT Project Management, Delivery Management, or Program Management.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end IT projects using both Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, lifecycle, risk, scope, budget tracking, and resource planning.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams including developers, QA, business analysts, infra, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver multiple projects while meeting schedule, scope, quality, and budget objectives.
• Experience preparing and maintaining project documentation (plans, status reports, risk/issue logs).
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, Trello or similar tools.
• Familiarity with SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD and software development best practices.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP/PRINCE2/CSM/PSM/PMI-ACP are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project delivery using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and close projects within scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectives.
• Develop, maintain, and secure approvals for Project Plans and Work Plans.
• Prepare and present Project Status Reports with updates on schedule, scope, risks and health.
• Monitor and track project budgets, costs, and resource utilization.
• Identify, document, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate when necessary.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders for successful execution.
• Allocate resources to optimize delivery and team performance.
• Drive delivery process improvements to enhance speed, quality, and efficiency.
• Ensure deliverables comply with standards and governance.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, sprint ceremonies, and stakeholder communications.
