Job summary

Center for Family Life in Sunset Park is seeking a Youth Worker for PS169 to support after-school activities and school-year programming. You will work with youth in arts, sports, tutoring, and field trips, collaborating with a team of artists, social workers, and youth staff.

A high school diploma or current student status is required, along with a commitment to a safe, engaging environment. This is a part-time role with 15–19 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or current enrollment in HS.
• Aged 16+; working papers if under 18.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate with children in activities such as arts, sports, and homework help.
• Help youth grow and bond as a group while supporting group leaders.
• Collaborate with a team of artists, social workers, and youth workers to create engaging programs.
