Job summary

RTX in Tanauan, Batangas, Philippines, is seeking a Quality Technician to support onsite inspection and repair of aviation components. You will collect data, ensure FAA/compliance, and prepare 8130-3 forms while collaborating with engineering for product improvements.

Role requires 18+ months hands-on experience, HS diploma or apprenticeship, and proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint; CAAP license preferred. Adhere to strict EHS standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FAA regulations and customer/manufacturer requirements for repair.
• Adherence to company policies and procedures; knowledge of mechanical/electro-mechanical repair and overhaul.
• Minimum 18 months experience disassembling, inspecting, assembling and testing aviation components.
• Education: HS diploma or apprenticeship; CAAP license preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions during inspection per procedures.
• Inspection and 8130-3 forms training.
• Assist management in methods to rectify malfunctions.
• Provide details to assist engineering in product improvement from inspection findings.
• Analyze fault isolation and test data to ensure conformance with final product specs.
• Perform visual inspection of incoming customer products.
• Produce inspection records and documentation per regulations and customer requirements.
• Adhere to EHS practices and standards across the site.
