Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a senior operations leader to oversee production, quality and site performance at a major facility. You will manage shop floor operations, workforce planning, and schedule adherence while driving continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering to optimize value, implement Lean/Six Sigma, and ensure safe, efficient operations across a large, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• 10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience ideally within aerospace manufacturing, aviation or automotive.
• Trained in Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Familiarity with AS 9100 Quality Management Systems.
• Strong operational KPIs and basic financial KPIs.
• Ability to lead and manage people.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (EASA/FAA).

Responsibilities

• Oversees production operations (shop floor management, workforce management, flow disruption).
• Oversees quality to meet regulatory and customer requirements, drives CAPA and continuous improvement.
• Partners with Supply Chain to optimize inventory, scheduling, and logistics.
• Leads and develops multidisciplinary teams with emphasis on safety and compliance.
• Drives strategy execution and capital planning for site performance.
• Exports executive performance reports and ensures accountability across leadership.
• Promotes a culture of zero-defect quality and regulatory compliance.
