Job summary

IPOPHL is seeking personnel for the IP Management and Technology Transfer Division in the Documentation, Information, and Technology Transfer Bureau in the Philippines. The role involves handling applications, maintaining records, and providing support to entrepreneurs and IP generators.

Qualifications include a two-year college study or senior high completion, relevant training, and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

  • Completion of two-year studies in college (prior to 2018) or completion of Grade 12/Senior HS (starting 2016)

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders submitting applications or requests related to technology transfer arrangements.
  • Receives, logs, and processes applications and requests, issuing statements of account, acknowledgments, and other official documents in accordance with IPOPHL procedures.
  • Monitors the status of all technology transfer applications and requests, providing timely updates to applicants, management, and relevant internal units.
  • Prepares and generates reports on technology transfer activities, including applications processed, Mind2Market services rendered, and compliance with division standards.
  • Provides administrative, clerical, and facilitation support to entrepreneurs, IP generators, and other clients in complying with government and IPOPHL requirements on technology transfer matters.
  • Coordinates and provides relevant data and documentation to other Divisions within the Bureau and IPOPHL to support decision-making, monitoring, and evaluation of technology transfer programs.
  • Assists in the promotion, licensing, and commercialization of technologies through advisory services, information dissemination, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Supports the implementation of divisional programs, projects, and activities by performing logistical, document management, and office support functions.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and filing systems related to technology transfer activities, ensuring compliance with IPOPHL, COA, and other government standards.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the IP Management and Technology Transfer Division and the effective delivery of its mandate.

  • Proficient in organizing, maintaining, and retrieving office records, reports, and correspondence.
  • Skilled in providing logistical and clerical support for meetings, training, and division activities (e.g., scheduling, filing, document preparation).
  • Able to encode and update data accurately in tracking systems and assist in monitoring project or program deliverables.
  • Competent in using standard office software
