Aon Philippines is seeking an Actuarial Valuation Analyst to support actuarial requirements across the APAC region. The role involves preparing valuations, responding to consultant inquiries, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

You will work with global teams, contribute to data collection, and assist in delivering high-quality deliverables on schedule in a dynamic, inclusive environment at Aon.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent experience accepted, preferably with heavy emphasis on mathematics, statistics, or engineering.
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
• At least 2-3 years of work experience; proven mathematical aptitude.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsabilidades

• Prepare valuations of actuarial work to support actuarial requirements across the APAC region.
• Respond to queries from Aon consultants regarding plan provisions and valuation results.
• Complete work in accordance with accounting standards and government regulations applicable to the plan.
• Handle data collection and project execution for global accounting consolidation projects.
• Prepare first draft deliverables for review by the consultant.
• Collaborate with cross-border teams and liaise with consultants and actuaries.

What The Day Will Look Like

• Prepare valuations of actuarial work to support actuarial requirements across the APAC region.
• Respond to queries from Aon consultants with respect to plan provisions and valuation results and resolve/escalate any problems or issues
• Complete work in accordance with accounting standards and government regulations applicable to the plan
• Utilize detailed tasks and steps to produce quality projects
• Complete analysis and reconciliations of plan participant data
• Performs technical review of standard/complex projects.
• Actively participate in team and project planning and suggests improvements based on observed best practices.
• Serve as primary doer and liaise effectively with consultants and actuaries regarding data collection and project execution required for global accounting consolidation projects
• Prepare the first draft of deliverables for review by the consultant in accordance to project deadlines
• Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-border teams
• Respond to all requests and communications effectively and efficiently

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

• Bachelor’s Degree required, or equivalent experience accepted, preferably in a program with heavy emphasis on mathematics, statistics, or engineering
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
• At least 2-3 years of work experience Proven mathematical aptitude
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Previous defined benefit and defined contribution experience required
• Well organized and detail oriented, effective time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
• Strong analytical and integrative skills including the ability to draw conclusions and identify trends from data in a logical, systemic way
• Ability to ask the right questions and seek help where appropriate, good problem solving Strong client service orientation
• Ability to apply newly acquired knowledge to future assignments
• Ability to work both independently and on client teamsSense of accountability and ability to display initiative in self development
• Actuarial exams/designation, a plus
