Job summary

ETIQA LIFE AND GENERAL ASSURANCE PHILIPPINES, INC. seeks an actuary to support the Nonlife segment with valuation, regulatory reports, product development and reinsurance.

The role involves data validation and analysis, preparing monthly actuarial valuations, and coordinating with management on reporting and pricing. Responsibilities also include monitoring experience against pricing assumptions and entering new reinsurance arrangements to back products. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Mathematics, BS Applied Mathematics, BS Statistics or BS Applied Statistics, and/or with nonlife actuarial experience

Responsibilities

• Validating, cleaning, and analyzing data to provide accurate report including reconciliation of other reports
• Prepare monthly actuarial valuation
• Prepare, process, and analyze data for internal and external reporting requirements
• Monitor experience against actuarial pricing assumption and conduct annual experience reviews
• Provide other reports as requested by management
• Prepare monthly reinsurance premiums and claims bordereaux for monitoring and quarterly for reporting
• Prepare treaty renewal data of existing reinsurance arrangements including negotiation and analysis
• Process minimum deposit premium and reinsurance claims recovery
• Take the lead in entering new reinsurance arrangements to support existing and new products
• Provide support and guidance on the monthly review of the profitability
• Preparation of the product documents for regulatory approval
• Provide support to other business units regarding product-related inquiries and initiatives
• Coordinate with other business units regarding requested support
