Our Clients is seeking an Actuarial Manager to lead a high-performing team within the Actuarial Function. You will oversee key activities such as pricing, portfolio and asset modeling, and valuation, delivering high-quality actuarial services to support strategic decisions.

You will mentor actuaries, stay updated on industry trends, and ensure timely, accurate analyses and reports. A strong collaboration across functions will be essential to drive risk management and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of actuarial work experience in insurance/financial services.
• Associate designation (SOA/ASPM) with progress toward Fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of actuaries in delivering strategic data analysis, risk assessment, and business planning initiatives.
• Provide actuarial expertise and support in key areas, including: Pricing, Portfolio Modeling, Asset Modeling, Valuation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial projections, optimize pricing strategies, and develop effective risk management solutions.
• Mentor and develop team members by fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and knowledge sharing.
• Drive innovation by staying updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging actuarial technologies.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of actuarial analyses, reports, and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or other related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of actuarial work experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Associate designation from a recognized actuarial organization (e.g., SOA, ASP), with significant progress toward Fellowship.
• Strong proficiency in actuarial tools and analytical software such as MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access), GGY AXIS, SQL, QlikView, Python, or similar programs.
• Experience applying actuarial concepts to independently model, analyze, and interpret actuarial financial metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, synthesize, organize, and communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and business functions.
