Job summary

InLife Benefits is looking for a Senior Claims Specialist in the Philippines. The role involves developing products through market research, pricing, and preparing reports for the Insurance Commission.

Preferably candidates should have a bachelor’s degree related to mathematics or a significant background in actuarial studies. The position offers a hybrid work model allowing 3 days onsite and 2 days remote weekly, along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Preferably with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or actuarial science.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools/software including MS Excel, SQL, Tableau.
• Intention to start and/or continue in the Actuarial Study Program.

Responsibilities

• Development of products including market research, product installation, and monitoring.
• Conduct pricing and profitability/sensitivity test calculations.
• Prepare documents and reports for submission to the Insurance Commission.
• Prepare for Product Development Committee Meetings.
• Assess Mortality, Loss Ratio, Morbidity, Expense and other actuarial studies.

• Development of products starting but not limited to market research, product installation, and product monitoring
• Pricing and profitability/sensitivity test calculations
• Preparation of documents and reports for submission to the InsuranceCommission (IC) as required
• Preparation for the Product Development Committee Meetings
• Assess Mortality, Loss Ratio, Morbidity, Expense and Other Actuarial Studies

Qualifications

• Preferably, with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, and/oractuarial science; or a bachelor’s degree with a significant number of units inmathematics
• Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and proceduresincluding data analysis tools/software’s ranging from MS Excel, SQL,Tableau, among others
• Intention to start and/or continue in the Actuarial Study Program
