Job summary

AIA Philippines in Makati seeks an Actuarial Specialist to ensure timely, accurate IFRS 17 valuation reporting and projections for life operations. You will prepare monthly production requirements, validate liabilities for OL/VUL/Group/A&H, and collaborate with IT and actuarial teams to meet data needs.

The role requires a degree in actuarial science or related field, at least 3 years of actuarial experience in life insurance, and SOA/VEEs certifications. Strong English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education – Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering with heavy applications in mathematics.
• Experience – at least 3 years adequate technical experience in actuarial work for a life insurance company.
• Certifications/licenses – At least 3 SOA exams or 2 SOA Exams + 3 VEEs passed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the IFRS 17 monthly production valuation reporting and projections.
• Review and endorse the monthly valuation of liabilities for OL/VUL/Group/A&H lines.
• Support actuarial estimates/projections/budgets for Life operations.
• Validate production results from Prophet, Subledger and SAS.
• Coordinate data and system requirements with IT and Actuarial Architecture Teams.
