Job summary

The role requires 3+ years in life actuarial work, SOA exams, and strong English communication. Proficiency in Prophet and IFRS/PFRS accounting is highly valued.
Qualifications
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering with strong mathematics
- At least 3 years actuarial experience in a life insurance company
- SOA exams: at least 3 exams or 2 exams + 3 VEEs passed
- Knowledge of IFRS 17 is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office and English communication
Responsibilities
- Prepare the Pre-Monthly Production requirements to ensure timely delivery of monthly production results
- Prepare and review monthly valuation of liabilities for OL/VUL/Group/A&H lines with financial report templates for submission
- Support actuarial estimates/projections/budgets for Life operations
- Review and endorse actuarial model in Prophet Workspace Manager
- Validate production results from Prophet, Subledger and SAS
- Coordinate with IT and Actuarial Architecture Teams to meet user requirements
- Contribute to IFRS 17 system solutions including production process manuals and documentation
- Perform UAT on data and systems
- Suggest enhancements in Actuarial modelling and reporting tools
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
