Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking an Accountant (Accounts Receivable Specialist) to join our finance team in Taguig on-site. The role focuses on AR management, billing, collections, and maintaining accurate records for monthly closes.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accountancy, with 2–3 years in AR; CPA is a strong plus. ERP experience with NetSuite or SAP is highly desirable, and strong attention to detail and deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• Certification: CPA license is highly preferred (a distinct advantage).
• Experience: At least 2-3 years of accounting experience, with a specific focus on Accounts Receivable processes.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting systems; hands-on ERP experience (such as NetSuite or SAP) is a strong plus.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of bank reconciliations, balance sheets, P&L preparation, and BIR compliance processes/reporting.
• Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proven ability to consistently meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• AR Management: Oversee and manage Accounts Receivable transactions, including billing, collections, and monitoring outstanding balances.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss (P&L) Statements.
• Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure the timely resolution of any discrepancies.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with BIR requirements, including the preparation and filing of relevant tax forms and reports.
• Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide necessary support to external auditors.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Coordinate with the Accounts Payable team and other departments to maintain smooth financial operations.
• Management Support: Provide accurate and timely financial data to management for strategic decision-making.
