Qualifications

• 2-4 years in accounts receivable or credit control roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AR best practices
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with others

Responsibilities

• Process and manage customer invoices with accuracy and timely delivery
• Monitor AR ledgers and maintain detailed transaction records
• Follow up on overdue payments through regular customer contact
• Prepare and distribute statements of account and payment reminders
• Investigate discrepancies, billing issues, and payment problems
• Maintain credit control policies to minimise bad debt risk
• Reconcile customer accounts and ensure financial record accuracy
• Collaborate with sales and operations to address payment concerns
• Generate AR aging, collection rate, and cash flow reports
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes for receivables
