The Accounts Payable Officer at MicroSourcing will verify, reconcile, and process supplier invoices and prepare payment proposals, while delivering financial and administrative support to the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in invoicing on MS Dynamics or SAP.
• Experience in administration or accounts payable.
• Strong spreadsheet and reconciliation skills.
• Flexible hours to meet targets.
• A current driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and statements.
• Prepare EFTs and pay suppliers per terms.
• Distribute invoices to Managers for approval and chase return thereof.
• Reconcile supplier statements and follow up outstanding invoices.
• Respond to supplier account queries and resolve invoicediscrepancies.
• Produce monthly AP reconciliation reports.
• Assist with month end closing reports and reconciliations.
• Process credit notes and customer claims.
• Support Finance with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
• Fill, photocopy and other clerical duties.
• File paid invoices.

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

The role of the Accounts Payable Officer will assist to controlexpenses by verifying, reconciling, and processing supplierinvoices received as well to prepare supplier paymentproposals. The role also involves providing financial,administrative, and clerical support to the organisation.

INDIVIDUAL ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

ExpensesProcessing

• Extract, print and process supplier invoices and statements.
• Prepare EFTs and manage payment of suppliers in accordance withpayment terms.
• Distribute invoices to Managers for approval and chase return thereof.
• Reconcile supplier statements, follow up outstanding invoices.
• Respond to supplier account queries and resolve any invoicediscrepancies in a professional manner.
• Produce monthly AP reconciliation reports.
• Assist with month end closing reports and reconciliations.
• Process credit notes and customer claims

Administrative& FinanceSupport

• Support Finance with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
• Filling, photocopying and other clerical or administrative duties.
• File paid invoices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• AP accountants who have at least 7+ years' experience of processing invoicing on MS dynamics or SAP systems.
• Experience in administration or accounts payable.
• Understanding of spreadsheets and reconciliation procedures.
• Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets.
• A current driver's license.
