Stagwell Inc. is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead core accounting functions within CORE Stagwell, a Shared Services entity supporting network brands. The role reports to the Brand Controller and delivers monthly financial results analysis.

You will oversee GL operations, monthly close, reconciliations, and audits, coordinating AR/AP/IT/Real Estate interfaces while guiding a team of accountants to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing an accounting team.
• 7+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, FASB and SEC accounting requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, PIVOT.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day operations for general ledger accounting.
• Liaise with AR, Billing, AP and Finance for inquiries.
• Review monthly close entries (Prepaid, Fixed Assets, accruals, etc.).
• Oversee accounting staff to ensure timely close and reporting.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and GL analyses.
• Maintain orderly accounting filing system.
• Prepare/review Audit schedules and conduct audit research.
• Assist with year-end tax schedules.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliation process.
• Support month-end ancillary package and Hyperion uploads.
• Serve as back-up for Shared Service Department areas.
• Assist in developing and maintaining internal controls.
