Job summary

RELX is seeking an experienced accounting professional to perform end-to-end financial data consolidation, analysis, and reporting. The role involves supervising accounting work where applicable and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.

The candidate will manage data collection, variance reporting, and preparation of financial statements, while supporting policy development and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Requires solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience with record-to-report processes and intercompany accounting preferred.
• Strong Excel and data analytics capabilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Data collection and analysis to produce standard reports.
• Track budgets within finance systems and report variances to senior staff.
• Generate insights and financial reporting for stakeholders.
• Resolve queries from internal/external stakeholders with policy guidance.
• Assist with development of financial policies and compliance with regulations.
• Understand and apply regulatory codes and organizational procedures.
• Develop capabilities through training and continuous learning.
• Supervise and guide a team to meet objectives and standards.
• Prioritize workload to ensure timely, accurate outputs.
